During the summer of 2022, I have been building two acoustic guitars. First up was a presentation grade Sapele Huron for Jon near the shores of Lake Michigan. Patrick in Santa Barbara ordered a Crelicam Ebony Huron. As of early September, both of these guitars are build, and I will be shooting lacquer shortly. I also am designing an octave mandolin and had hoped to build it this summer, but it will have to wait. In each of the blogs below, I provide a dairy of my progress as well as links to photos taken throughout the build. Scroll down to follow along and feel free to post comments. I'd love to hear from you.
